Overview:

North Idaho Classical Academy (NICA) is dedicated to providing a well-rounded education that extends beyond the confines of traditional classroom learning. DECA Outdoors is NICA’s comprehensive extracurricular curriculum aimed at fostering holistic development, lifelong skills, physical fitness, and a deep appreciation for nature among its students and faculty.

DECA Activities:

NICA believes in the transformative power of outdoor experiences in nurturing resilience, leadership skills, and environmental stewardship among students. The program encompasses ten activities specifically chosen to accentuate our unique climate and geography. Each distinct season (fall, winter, spring, and summer)  combines activities focused on instilling the virtues of physical courage, perseverance, and self government.
