North Idaho Classical Academy (NICA) is a tuition-free, public charter school located approximately five miles outside of Bonners Ferry, Idaho opening August 2025. NICA’s mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of students through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.

We are initiating a nationwide search for mission-aligned teaching candidates. Our openings are as follows:

• Prospective teachers should possess a strong academic background, good character, a passion for learning, and a desire to educate the next generation of citizens. Idaho law enables charter schools to certify their own teachers, so teacher certification is not required for initial hire.
